Easy To Make Pudding. :D

Yeah, you heard me. EASY TO MAKE DESSERTS!

First off, I like to think of myself being skilled in the art of food.

Eating, that is.

But, I suppose when one eats as much as I do, one must also be able to create food.

But before I get on to that, I just have to congratulate my friends on their PMR results, particularly, Daniel Khoo Eng Chin, my dear cousin, and Ow Kok Weng *glares*, for their straight As. :D

Ya'll make me proud. (:

And back to to the topic at hand.

Recently, my mom found this cookbook back when we were in US. On the back, it says..

Printed by the
Minnesota Department of Health.

Printed on Recycled Paper.
And on the front...

Well, this cookbook gives you recipes that aren't only healthy, but also easy to make. So today, I attempted making pudding.
This is the first time I've ever made pudding and I have to say, it's SO EASY!

It has to be one of the simplest things I've ever done. Besides instant noodles, but that's a no brainer.

On an unrelated note, I've never fried an egg in my life.

Moving on..

I think it took me less than half an hour. Including preparation time.

Well, here's the recipe of the chocolate pudding I made. I edited it slightly so it'd be easier to understand.
3 tablespoon of cornstarch
1.5 tablespoon of cocoa *I didn't have cocoa so I used 2 tablespoons of Milo instead*
2 cups skim milk *low fat milk*
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/4 cup of sugar
Firstly, you gotta combine cornstarch and cocoa. Add milk slowly and stir until blended. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until smooth and thick. The temperature doesn't really matter, just that the texture has to be right in the end.

Remove from heat and stir in sugar and vanilla. Be sure the sugar is COMPLETELY dissolved in the hot pudding. Pour into dessert dishes and chill it overnight.

Just a tip, sprinkle milo powder over it if you want even more taste.

It makes about two medium sized bowls, but if you divide it cupcake sized, you'd be able to get about 10, I'd reckon.

If any of you attempt this recipe, let me know, kay. I wanna see how it goes. :D
